Meet Our Tour Leaders

Olene Carroll & Nancy Fischer, students of Christian Science, are Bible teachers, speakers and authors of children's materials. They have been leading tours to Bible lands with Omega since 1995. Most travelers have been students of Christian Science, but all are welcome to join their groups.

Nancy and Olene were both Bible teachers in Christian Science nursing facilities – one in Texas and one in Florida. They met each other on their first tour to Israel and Jordan which was organized by Omega Travel. Nancy invited several of her friends to go with her on the tour and began spreading the word about the tour. Olene learned about it and decided to go along. Nancy did Bible talks throughout the tour and Olene added her insights and understandings along the way. It was a very enriching experience for all of the passengers on that tour, and when the tour ended they all agreed that Nancy and Olene should do it again for others. They agreed and have been organizing tours for Christian Scientists and their friends ever since.

The first several tours they led were to Israel and Jordan, and then they began to expand to other destinations – to Greece, Turkey, & Egypt. They are very detailed in their organization and planning for each group. They do in-depth Bible talks in each destination with insights that are helpful and enlightening. Their sense of humor, combined with their love of the Bible and their eagerness for others to learn and understand, make their tours inspiring, educational and great fun.
